Gethsemane Foundation (GF) is a faith-based, nonprofit organization established in 2025 and headquartered in Kigali, Gasabo, Rwanda. Our mission is to bring holistic transformation to vulnerable individuals — especially women, children, and youth — by addressing their spiritual, physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs.
Inspired by the biblical Garden of Gethsemane — a place of prayer, surrender, and transformation — we walk alongside those in crisis and need, offering support that restores dignity, hope, and purpose.
At GF, we believe true transformation touches the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Our programs are built on Christian values and designed to empower communities, eliminate poverty, promote education and health, and foster lasting personal and social change.
We focus on reaching:
Widows, single mothers, and survivors of gender-based violence
Unemployed or out-of-school youth
Marginalized families with limited access to services
We deliver our mission through practical programs and community-driven initiatives in areas such as:
Child nutrition and early education
Women’s empowerment and vocational training
Livestock farming and agribusiness
Health access and emotional wellness
To see individuals and communities holistically transformed spiritually, economically, emotionally, and socially living fulfilled and purposeful lives.
